Wyleth the Chosen One by rufusglez

Format: Commander

Commander: Wyleth, Soul of Steel

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a focused Boros Equipment/Voltron strategy helmed by **Wyleth, Soul of Steel**. The core plan is to cast Wyleth early, stack him with Auras and Equipment, and use his combat-draw trigger to out-card the table while he grows into a lethal threat. The deck is acutely centered on redundancy: it runs multiple tutors for Equipment (Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, Open the Armory, Fighter Class, Astor, Bearer of Blades) and equally many for draw triggers (both from Wyleth and from Sram, Senior Edificer, Puresteel Paladin, Akiri, Fearless Voyager). It wins through commander damage (21 via Wyleth) or combat beatdown with huge temporary buffs like Colossus Hammer and Fireshrieker, supported by one extra-combat spell (Relentless Assault) to accelerate. There is no infinite mana or two-card combo; the deck plays a resilient mid-range style that exploits redundancy to keep its game plan on track after natural disruption.
