Deck overview

This Izzet deck is a Treasure/artifact value engine helmed by Bilbo, Retired Burglar, who tempts the Ring on entry/exit and mints a Treasure on every combat hit. The plan is to flood the board with Treasures from roughly nineteen redundant sources - Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Xorn, Storm-Kiln Artist, Professional Face-Breaker, Goldspan Dragon - then convert that mass into a win. Primary finishes are Hellkite Tyrant's 20-artifact alternate win (with Magda, Brazen Outlaw tutoring it straight to the battlefield), Balin, Loremaster's burst draw into X-damage burn, and Fiery Inscription/Reckless Fireweaver pings amplified by Underworld Breach spell loops. A Dragon beatdown plan (Smaug the Magnificent, Cavern-Hoard Dragon) supplies combat inevitability, while the Ring subtheme (The One Ring, Gandalf, Friend of the Shire, There and Back Again) adds card advantage and protection. This is a midrange value deck that wins through overwhelming artifact mass rather than a fast combo.
