Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Mardu Vampire tribal deck that blends aggressive combat, lifegain, and aristocrat drain mechanics. Piloted by Licia, Sanguine Tribune, the deck rapidly establishes a board of low-cost Vampires that gain life, trigger +1/+1 counters, and discount Licia for explosive midgame swings. Cards like Cordial Vampire, Drana, Liberator of Malakir, and Sanctum Seeker turn go-wide attacks into lethal board states, while drain engines such as Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Vein Ripper punish opposing blocks and board wipes. The list features strong recursion to bounce back from sweepers, backed by high-quality spot removal. While it contains an un-tutored infinite combo in Exquisite Blood and Marauding Blight-Priest, its primary game plan reliably applies Turn 5 pressure and finishes tables by Turn 7 through combat and life-drain attrition.
