Deck overview

This deck is a Boros historic synergy deck led by Arbaaz Mir. The game plan focuses on casting a high density of historic permanents—including artifacts, legendary creatures, and Sagas—to trigger Arbaaz Mir's ability repeatedly, draining each opponent's life total while padding your own. Early turns establish mana acceleration through low-cost mana rocks and cost reducers like Pearl Medallion and Ruby Medallion. By turn 4, the deck deploys Arbaaz alongside continuous historic engines such as Norin the Wary, Teleportation Circle, and Gandalf the White. Card advantage engines like The One Ring, Esper Sentinel, and impulse-draw Sagas keep your hand full of actionable spells. Around turn 6, the deck converts its accumulated board presence into a decisive threat through trigger doublers like Panharmonicon, heavy hitters like Excalibur, Sword of Eden, or mass recursion via Wake the Past. A strong removal suite and asymmetric board wipes like Urza's Ruinous Blast protect your lead and close games.
