Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue Sphinx tribal strategy piloted by Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign. The game plan focuses on deploying cost reducers during the early turns to cast Unesh on Turn 4 or 5. Once Unesh enters the battlefield, it reduces the cost of all Sphinx spells by two generic mana and turns every Sphinx entry into a four-card Fact or Fiction trigger. This lets the pilot rapidly chain large flying threats, generate massive hand advantage, and find interaction. The primary win condition is overwhelming aerial combat supported by asymmetric bounce spells like Raise the Palisade and Enigma Thief. Free and low-cost counterspells like Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Mana Drain protect the board from sweepers and targeted removal. Standalone draw engines like Kindred Discovery and Consecrated Sphinx ensure card flow continues even if Unesh is removed.
