Angels by Thrashmeejl

Deck overview

The deck uses Giada, Font of Hope as both commander access and a restricted Angel mana source. Early turns develop lands, rocks, or cost reducers, then deploy Angels that gain extra counters from Giada, Font of Hope. The midgame focuses on compounding life and combat advantages through Righteous Valkyrie, Archangel of Thune, Lyra Dawnbringer, Angel of Invention, and Angel token makers. Its first genuinely decisive state is usually a wide flying board around turn 7, not the first Angel cast. The deck can then win through several combat steps, usually eliminating one opponent per attack. Removal and protection are functional but not dense enough to support a competitive combo plan. Card draw exists through enter-the-battlefield effects, Folk Hero, Clues, and attack triggers, but access remains dependent on natural draws. The main weaknesses are expensive spells, limited tutoring, vulnerability to sweepers and exile, and the lack of a compact deterministic finish.
