Deck overview

This Boros kindred deck centers on Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, leveraging an aggressive curve of cheap Dwarves to churn out Treasure tokens and convert artifact density into lethal combat power. Early turns establish board presence with efficient utility Dwarves like Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Giott, King of the Dwarves, and Kíli the Resourceful. Once Thorin resolves, every Dwarf entrance creates additional Treasure tokens while pumping all other Dwarves based on total artifact token counts. The deck closes games through overwhelming wide attacks buffed by equipment, Dáin of the Ancient Halls, and Smaug the Magnificent. It pairs its proactive combat plan with an unusually deep suite of instant-speed phasing and indestructible protection spells, ensuring that wide boards survive opposing sweepers. While lacking stax and countermagic, the deck presents consistent mid-game pressure and high synergistic resiliency.
