Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive, synergistic Mono-Black Aristocrats and Crime engine commanded by Gisa, the Hellraiser. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns through premier rocks and rituals, deploying Gisa on Turn 4, and repeatedly committing crimes each turn using low-cost targeting permanents and efficient removal spells. Each crime triggers Gisa to produce two 3/3 menace Zombie Rogue tokens, quickly generating a threatening wide board across all player turns. The deck leverages this expendable army through powerful sacrifice outlets like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Ashnod's Altar, and Blasting Station, converting token deaths into massive life drain with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Mirkwood Bats, and Vein Ripper. It backs up this aristocrat engine with massive mono-black mana generation from Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast, fueling game-ending bursts like Exsanguinate and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. High-quality interaction and resilient reanimation round out a potent, proactive strategy.
