Commander: Primo, the Unbounded

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Simic +1/+1 counter deck built around Primo, the Unbounded. Primo enters with twice X counters, and its combat trigger creates 0/0 Fractals that get counters equal to combat damage. The deck plays an X-spell ramp and hydra package, multiplying counters via Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, Kami of Whispered Hopes, Innkeeper's Talent, and The Earth Crystal. Secondary win conditions include Simic Ascendancy's twenty growth counters and huge trample creatures made unblockable by Herald of Secret Streams. The deck is commander-centric but can function through its other legendary counter engines if Primo is taxed.
