Wilhelt - Zombies by user1489344

Format: Commander

Commander: Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver is the engine of a Dimir Zombie aristocrat deck that wins by converting death triggers into a critical mass of tokens and drain. The primary plan is to use Wilhelt plus zombie death payoff cards like Diregraf Captain and Vengeful Dead to grind out the table. The secondary path is a compact reanimator/tutor package that assembles a deterministic mill or drain loop using Gravecrawler and Rooftop Storm, or by transforming Poppet Stitcher into Poppet Factory and looping tokens through Altar of Dementia. There is no hidden commander; Tormod and Sidisi are powerful support pieces, but the deck is built around Wilhelt as its token generator and card-draw engine.
