Commander: Captain Rex Nebula

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Captain Rex Nebula pilots a Boros Vehicle deck that wins through a board-centric combat clock. The main plan is to deploy cheap artifact cost-reducers, use Rex's combat trigger to turn a spare nonland permanent into a large Vehicle with Crew 2, and convert attack triggers into cards, mana, and Angel tokens. Early self-animating Vehicles like Gastal Thrillroller and Fleetwheel Cruiser apply pressure, while Ballista Charger, Smuggler's Buggy, and Mobile Garrison generate incremental value. The late game is dominated by Parhelion II, Salvation Engine, and Threefold Thunderhulk, with Strionic Resonator and Lithoform Engine multiplying key triggers. A small recursion package of Trash for Treasure and Pia's Revolution helps rebuild after disruption, and Warp World plus Scrambleverse act as chaotic reset buttons. There is no deterministic infinite combo; wins are earned over several combat steps, with Goblin Festival, Font of Ire, and Fling as direct-damage outlets.
