The Halls of Orzhova by HelloIzzetMe

Format: Commander

Commander: Teysa Karlov

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Teysa Karlov leads a midrange Orzhov aristocrats deck that wins by stacking death triggers into repeated life loss. The primary plan is to create a drain engine with creatures like Blood Artist and Cruel Celebrant, double their triggers with Teysa, and convert tokens into mana and card advantage with sacrifice outlets. The deck also contains a compact hidden combo line built around Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER and Forsaken Miner that can generate infinite death triggers and life drain. Secondary paths include commander damage from Karlov, Ghost Council value, and large X-spells like Exsanguinate. The commander's role is to accelerate every death-based payoff; most combo lines function without her, but her absence slows the clock.
