Deck overview

This is an Orzhov Equipment Voltron deck helmed by Winter Soldier, Icy Assassin. The plan is to suit up Winter Soldier with a dense package of roughly two dozen equipment pieces, leveraging his +2/+0 per Equipment, vigilance, and menace to close out games via commander damage. The commander's activated ability provides built-in recursion, returning him from the graveyard with a finality counter and re-attaching an Equipment, making him exceptionally sticky. The deck is supported by a deep protection suite (Gods Willing, Feat of Resistance, Adamant Will, Mask of Avacyn) and flexible removal (Dire Tactics, Mortify, Fracture, March of Otherworldly Light). The primary win is commander damage, accelerated by Fireshrieker (double strike) and Quietus Spike (half-life). Secondary beats come from Captain's Claws tokens and Slash the Ranks clearing the board while sparing the commander. The deck is slow but relentless, grinding through opponents one at a time.
