Rootha Precon by user3999627

Format: Commander

Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rootha turns a precombat instant or sorcery into a huge flying haste Elemental; the deck is an Izzet spellslinger that chains high-mana-value instants and sorceries, then multiplies that token with clone spells and wins through extra combat steps. Surge to Victory is the primary finisher, exiling cards like Rapturous Moment or Expropriate to give every attacker +X and recast the spell on each hit. Ovika, Veyran, and Chrome Host Seedshark provide alternate non-commander engines. There is no true hidden commander; Sanar, Unfinished Genius // Wild Idea is the closest to one, acting as a one-shot tutor for any instant or sorcery. The deck is built around Rootha's token, not her 3/4 body.
