Bracket: 2

Deck overview

UW Mendicant Core is a max-speed artifact-copy engine: get speed to 4, then turn every artifact spell into a token copy while slowly assembling an artifact board. The primary plan is to hit max speed by turn 5 using an early flying attacker, double the best token-makers and equipment, then close with The Antiquities War animating the board into 5/5s. Secondary beats come from Guidelight Synergist, Urza's Construct, and Machinist's Arsenal-equipped Heroes. The hidden commander is Cid, Timeless Artificer: three copies of an Artificer anthem that pump artifact creatures and can be cycled for cards. Aether Syphon provides a second start-your-engines source and incidental mill.
