Deck overview

This Mardu deck utilizes Kaalia of the Vast alongside a high-density reanimator core to establish rapid, decisive victories. The primary strategy focuses on cheating game-ending creatures such as Hoarding Broodlord, Razaketh, the Foulblooded, and Vilis, Broker of Blood onto the battlefield on Turns 2 to 3 using cheap graveyard tutors like Entomb and efficient reanimation spells like Reanimate. Once Hoarding Broodlord enters, it chains through Saw in Half, Sacrifice, and Peer into the Abyss to draw half the library, assembling the infinite combat combo of Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame to eliminate all opponents on the spot. In parallel, the list deploys potent stax pieces including Drannith Magistrate, Rule of Law, Archon of Emeria, and Opposition Agent to strangle opposing game plans while breaking parity through Kaalia's free creature-drop trigger. Backed by cheap stack protection like Grand Abolisher and Silence, the deck maintains aggressive speed, disruptive resilience, and high combo lethality.
