Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet storm and spellslinger build led by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Vivi early and enchanting it with damage-triggered draw effects like Curiosity or Ophidian Eye. Because Vivi puts a +1/+1 counter on itself and deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, each cheap cantrip or ritual draws three fresh cards while expanding Vivi's power. Vivi then taps for large bursts of blue and red mana to sustain the chain. The deck rapidly casts dozens of spells in a single turn, closing out the game on turn 4 through lethal commander pings, Grapeshot, or infinite mana loops with Quicksilver Elemental. Robust zero- and one-mana countermagic protects the combo during execution, while Underworld Breach and Brain Freeze provide a resilient secondary storm route if the primary engine faces disruption.
