MITES MITES MITES by DubzHD37

Format: Commander

Commander: Vishgraz, the Doomhive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Abzan Phyrexian poison-swarm deck built around Vishgraz, the Doomhive. The plan is to flood the battlefield with 1/1 Phyrexian Mite tokens - three from Vishgraz's ETB, multiplied into six or twelve by Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, and Exalted Sunborn - then push poison through toxic and infect combat. Proliferate effects in Evolution Sage, Bloated Contaminator, and Karn's Bastion accelerate every opponent's poison total while feeding Vishgraz, whose power scales with each counter opponents hold. The primary kill is an alpha strike powered by Triumph of the Hordes or Akroma's Will, with Halo Fountain's fifteen-tap alternate win as a second route. Flicker effects like Ephemerate, Conjurer's Closet, and Teleportation Circle re-trigger Vishgraz for repeated token waves, while Living Death and Planewide Celebration provide mass recovery. This is a deliberate midrange deck: it wins through table-wide poison accumulation and combat inevitability rather than racing a fast combo.
