Deck overview

This Naya deck, helmed by Toph, the First Metalbender, is a land-animation and landfall strategy that turns lands into massive creatures. The primary game plan involves using the Earthbend mechanic (creating animated land creatures with +1/+1 counters), then leveraging landfall triggers and extra combat steps to overwhelm opponents. Toph, the First Metalbender turns nontoken artifacts into lands, providing additional landfall fuel and enabling explosive turns with Moraug, Fury of Akoum and Overrun. The deck wins through combat damage from colossal animated lands, backed by counter synergies and a resilient board presence. The commander's end-step Earthbend is a consistent source of growing threats, but the deck functions well even without her.
