Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy mono-red burn and control strategy commanded by Norin the Wary. Norin's peculiar ability exiles him whenever any player casts a spell or attacks, returning him at the beginning of each end step. By weaponizing these repeated entries with cards like Impact Tremors, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Genesis Chamber, the deck turns opponents' routine actions into unavoidable table-wide damage. The deck slows down faster opponents with asymmetric stax pieces like Blood Moon, Winter Moon, and Confusion in the Ranks, which breaks parity by continuously exchanging Norin for opposing threats before he flickers back. Backed by damage doublers such as Torbran, Thane of Red Fell and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, along with an un-tutored infinite combo in Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts, the deck consistently closes out games by Turn 7.
