Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is an aggressive Vampire tribal and aristocrats deck that leverages the Eminence ability to flood the battlefield with creature tokens from Turn 1 onward. By casting low-cost Vampire creatures on curve, the deck quickly builds a dense board presence without needing to spend mana on its commander early. It converts this token swarm into lethal pressure using tribal lords like Stromkirk Captain and Legion Lieutenant, high-impact anthems like Shared Animosity, and combat drain engines like Sanctum Seeker. When opponents attempt to sweep the board, aristocrat pieces such as Cruel Celebrant and Vindictive Vampire punish them with life drain, while Eminence ensures a rapid rebuild within a single turn. For an alternative win condition, the list runs an infinite life-loss combo with Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Sanguine Bond. Supported by asymmetric board wipes and targeted spot removal, the deck aggressively closes games around Turn 7.
