Deck overview

This deck is a focused Rakdos Dragon tribal aggro-midrange deck commanded by Rivaz of the Claw. The primary game plan leverages low-cost mana rocks and tribal cost reducers to cast Rivaz on turn three, unlocking two mana toward Dragon spells and graveyard recursion. On turn four, the deck deploys high-impact threats like Terror of the Peaks, Bonehoard Dracosaur, or Goldspan Dragon. Critical onset arrives on turn five as airborne threats, haste enablers such as Dragon Tempest, and damage multipliers create immediate table-wide pressure. The deck closes games around turn seven through overwhelming flying damage and direct ETB burn triggers from Scourge of Valkas and Utvara Hellkite. Supported by versatile removal and redirection spells, the deck maintains steady pressure while using Rivaz's ability to rebuild easily after opposing sweepers.
