Valgavotto by Zan7

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls is the deck's engine and a growing beater; the deck is built around the single-faced commander, with no hidden commander. The primary plan is to make each opponent lose life on their own turn through upkeep effects such as Barbed Wire, Roiling Vortex, and Court of Ambition, so Valgavoth draws a card and grows once per opponent per turn. Secondary paths are the Exquisite Blood + Vito/Enduring Tenacity infinite drain loop, damage multiplication from Solphim and Wound Reflection, and large Exsanguinate or Chandra's Ignition finishes. Valgavoth's card advantage is what makes the combo reliable, but the combo itself can win without the commander on the battlefield.
