Deck overview

This deck is a Bant go-wide aggro strategy helmed by Alistair, the Brigadier. It leverages a dense suite of historic spells (artifacts, legendary permanents, and Sagas) to trigger Alistair and continuously produce 1/1 Soldier creature tokens. The deck accelerates in the early game with land ramp and mana fixers before converting its growing army into explosive mana through Cryptolith Rite, Enduring Vitality, and Growing Rites of Itlimoc. Once a wide board is established, the deck transitions into lethal combat via overwhelming anthem effects like Moonshaker Cavalry, Porcelain Gallery, Beastmaster Ascension, Harbin, Vanguard Aviator, or Alistair's own +X/+X attack trigger. High-impact protection spells like Clever Concealment, Dauntless Escort, and King Darien XLVIII safeguard the token swarm against board wipes, allowing the deck to execute a decisive two-turn combat finish across the table.
