Deck overview

This Mardu deck utilizes the partner pairing of Trynn, Champion of Freedom and Silvar, Devourer of the Free to execute an aggressive tribal aristocrats strategy. Trynn reliably creates Human tokens whenever you attack, ensuring a steady stream of fodder for Silvar, who grows into a lethal menace threat while providing an instant-speed, indestructible sacrifice outlet. The 99 is densely packed with low-curve Humans, token multipliers like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Horn of Gondor, and aristocrat drain engines like Bastion of Remembrance and Zulaport Cutthroat. The deck accelerates on curve using 2-mana artifacts, protects its board with Jirina, Dauntless General and Boros Charm, and leverages efficient spot removal such as Swords to Plowshares and Anguished Unmaking. It reliably achieves critical onset on Turn 5 and closes the game across two subsequent combat and sacrifice cycles by Turn 7.
