Deck overview

This deck is a focused Equipment Voltron strategy helmed by The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster. The primary game plan is to cast Thor, suit her up with a dense suite of Equipment, and attack to trigger her exile-and-return ability while drawing cards from each Equipment entering. The deck leverages a strong tutor package (Enlightened Tutor, Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, Open the Armory, and Cloud, Midgar Mercenary) to consistently find key Equipment like Buster Sword, Sword of Hearth and Home, and Mjolnir, Storm Hammer. Cost reducers such as Etherium Sculptor, Foundry Inspector, and Danitha Capashen, Paragon accelerate deployment, while a robust protection suite (Mithril Coat, Robe of Stars, Swiftfoot Boots) keeps Thor alive. The deck wins through commander damage, typically requiring two to three attacks with double strike or large power boosts. Secondary value lines involve blinking Thor with Displacer Kitten or Phelia, Exuberant Shepherd to reuse her ETB tutor and generate incremental advantage.
