Deck overview

This is a Grixis "amass Orcs" midrange deck helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord. The primary plan is to grow a single massive Army token through amass triggers, then win through overwhelming combat damage backed by drain effects. Sauron amasses on every opponent spell, and whenever the Army deals combat damage, the Ring tempts you - letting the deck discard its hand to draw four cards, which is its primary card-advantage engine. Secondary paths include Wraith token generation via Lord of the Nazgul, theft effects like In the Darkness Bind Them and Subjugate the Hobbits, and life-drain reach from Mirkwood Bats and Fell Beast of Mordor. The deck is a value-oriented board-presence deck with no fast combo finish; it wins by out-muscling the table with an ever-growing Army.
