Deck overview

Faceless Menace is a Sultai midrange commander deck focused on the morph, megamorph, and manifest mechanics, commanded by Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer. The deck's primary engine uses Kadena's cost reduction to deploy one face-down 2/2 creature per turn for free, replenishing the hand through Kadena's card-draw trigger. It leverages hidden information and special-action unmorph triggers from creatures like Willbender, Kadena's Silencer, and Kheru Spellsnatcher to disrupt opposing plays without using the stack for activation. The deck progressively builds a wide creature board, using asymmetric utility pieces like Ixidron to stall opponent combat and disruption engines like Thieving Amalgam to manifest opposing libraries. Victory is achieved through wide combat overruns, utilizing finishers like Overwhelming Stampede and Biomass Mutation to push massive trample damage across multiple combat steps.
