Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Arcades, the Strategist helms a proactive toughness-matters deck that transforms cheap high-toughness defenders into undercosted beaters while drawing cards whenever they enter the battlefield. The primary game plan deploys resilient Walls early, casts Arcades to unlock explosive draw chains, and overruns the table with combat damage boosted by unblockability from Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive and massive team-wide toughness buffs like Tower Defense. As an alternate win condition, the deck features an infinite mana and infinite power combo combining Umbral Mantle with multi-mana tap defenders like Axebane Guardian or Overgrown Battlement, allowing the deck to close games rapidly.
