Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counters and token strategy commanded by Berta, Wise Extrapolator. The game plan accelerates through early land ramp and mana creatures into Berta, then stacks exponential stat growth using counter multipliers like Branching Evolution and Doubling Season. Once established, the deck converts massive Fractal tokens into lethal combat damage using evasion enablers such as Herald of Secret Streams, Champion of Lambholt, and Tanazir Quandrix, with Simic Ascendancy serving as a secondary win condition. Because the list lacks tutors for nonland permanents, it depends on natural card draw to find specific utility pieces, board protection, and interaction. Its defenses rely on instant-speed hexproof, indestructible, and phasing spells to keep its tall boards intact against opposing sweepers. The deck reliably builds its core engine by Turn 4, threatens lethal damage on Turn 6, and closes out games on Turn 8 through overwhelming combat steps.
