B4 Sephiroth, FABLED Soldier by eckoefx

Format: Commander

Commander: Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats deck built to flip Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel and drain the table with layered death triggers. The front face is a three-mana sac-draw engine that pings an opponent whenever another creature dies and transforms on the fourth trigger each turn; the back face grants a permanent drain emblem and converts any number of creatures into cards on attack. The 99 is a classic sacrifice pile: cheap edicts that force four deaths at once, free and mana-positive outlets, sticky recurable creatures, and redundant aristocrat payoffs. Primary wins are infinite death loops-a recurable creature plus Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader plus a drain piece-and emblem-backed attrition. Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos lock creature decks, while Torment of Hailfire and Bolas's Citadel convert late mana into a direct finish. Sephiroth matters, but Tergrid, God of Fright and Ayara, First of Locthwain can run the same script if he never resolves.
