Deck overview

This Wort, the Raidmother deck operates as a Gruul spellslinger and token swarm engine. The game plan focuses on ramping during the early turns with land search and cost reducers like Goblin Anarchomancer and Skyshroud Claim to deploy Wort, the Raidmother by Turn 5. Wort enters with two Goblin Warrior tokens, establishing the board presence needed to conspire red and green spells. In the midgame, the deck copies card draw spells like Harmonize and Escape to the Wilds to restock resources, alongside token generators such as Howl of the Night Pack and Revel of the Fallen God to build a wide army. The deck closes games around Turn 8 by copying lethal overrun effects like Preposterous Proportions or channeling large mana into copied burn spells such as Jaya's Immolating Inferno. While vulnerable to board wipes and lacking stack interaction, its spell copying generates massive card velocity and board presence.
