Commander: The Emperor of Palamecia // The Lord Master of Hell

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger deck built around a single explosive transformation. The plan is to cast noncreature spells with four or more mana to stack +1/+1 counters on The Emperor of Palamecia, triggering its flip into The Lord Master of Hell - a 3/3 whose attack deals X damage to each opponent, where X is the number of noncreature, nonland cards in the graveyard. The deck accelerates that clock with Harmonic Prodigy and Wizard's Staff (which double the counter generation), then inflates the graveyard with Traumatize and Cut Your Losses to make Starfall lethal to the whole table at once. A secondary line uses graveyard-fueled flyers - Crackling Drake, Enigma Drake, Spellheart Chimera, and Melek, Reforged Researcher - finished off with Soul's Fire. The deck is dense with draw, counterspells, and instant-speed interaction, playing a patient control-then-combo game that wins in a single swing.
