Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Sphinx tribal midrange strategy commanded by The Ur-Sphinx. The commander provides a constant Eminence cost reduction of {1} to all Sphinx spells from the command zone, allowing the deck to deploy high-toughness, evasive flying creatures ahead of curve. The early game focuses on establishing mana rocks and curving into value-generating Sphinxes like Sphinx of Foresight and Sphinx of Clear Skies. In the mid game, massive card-advantage engines such as Kindred Discovery and Consecrated Sphinx ensure a full grip of counterspells and removal.
