[B4/5] Squall by Joe_King

Format: Commander

Commander: Squall, SeeD Mercenary

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a fast, low-to-the-ground Orzhov combo deck helmed by Squall, SeeD Mercenary. The primary plan is to bin Leonin Relic-Warder with graveyard tutors, reanimate it with the Animate Dead family, and loop it through Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader for infinite mana and death triggers, then convert through The Meathook Massacre, Susurian Voidborn, or Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER. A dense suite of premium tutors and fast mana - Dark Ritual, Sol Ring, Mox Diamond, Mana Vault - accelerates the kill, while stax pieces like Archon of Emeria, Drannith Magistrate, Grand Abolisher, and Deafening Silence buy time to assemble. The commander is a genuine but optional engine: a lone attack gains double strike, and combat damage recurs any permanent of mana value 3 or less, giving a resilient mid-game value axis if the combo is disrupted.
