Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black artifact midrange and aristocrats strategy led by Imotekh the Stormlord. The primary game plan revolves around leveraging the graveyard as an extended hand by recurring, unearthing, and cycling artifact cards to trigger Imotekh's ability, creating a massive army of 2/2 black Necron Warrior tokens. Key engines like Tortured Existence and Buried Alive rapidly load the graveyard and generate swarms of creatures at minimal mana cost. Aristocrat payoffs like Marionette Apprentice, Pactdoll Terror, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Psychomancer convert entering and dying artifact tokens into lethal life drain against all opponents simultaneously. High-impact bombs such as Shard of the Void Dragon, Shard of the Nightbringer, and an asymmetric board wipe in Their Name Is Death allow the deck to break parity and overwhelm opposing defenses. While susceptible to mass graveyard exile and enchantment threats, its dense redundancy and strong recursion ensure high resilience and consistent combat pressure.
