Deck overview

This Izzet Spellslinger deck is commanded by Vivi Ornitier, turning every noncreature spell into table-wide burn and scaling mana generation. The deck leverages efficient 1-to-2 CMC cantrips, rituals, and artifact ramp to deploy Vivi on Turn 3 and immediately establish a self-fueling spellcasting loop by Turn 4. Chaining cheap instants and sorceries rapidly inflates Vivi's power, triggering ping damage across all three opponents and activating Vivi's zero-mana ability for large mana bursts. The deck scales this velocity into potent Magecraft engines like Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Veyran, Voice of Duality, or the decisive two-card combo of Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity. Defensive interaction and mass bounce via Cyclonic Rift provide stability while the deck prepares its burst turns. While vulnerable to well-timed spot removal against its central engine creatures, the deck features high card draw density, allowing it to dig swiftly through answers and assemble game-ending storm sequences by Turn 6.
