Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Naya combat deck led by Aragorn, Hornburg Hero. The strategy curves out with low-cost creatures featuring Boros and Gruul mechanics such as Riot, Mentor, Bloodthirst, and Battalion. Deploying Aragorn on Turn 4 gives attacking creatures first strike and renown 1, placing +1/+1 counters when they deal combat damage to players. On Turn 5, Aragorn doubles those counters upon subsequent combat hits, turning modest attackers into massive threats alongside damage doublers like Uncivil Unrest and anthems like Captain America, Skybound. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through overwhelming combat damage. While it possesses high creature redundancy and strong combat keywords, it lacks creature tutoring, reliable card replenishment engines, and versatile interaction, leaving it focused purely on proactive combat pressure.
