Format: Commander

Commander: Eluge, the Shoreless Sea

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Eluge, the Shoreless Sea is a mono-blue draw-go control and combo deck. The primary plan is to land Eluge early, spread flood counters onto your own lands to make the first instant or sorcery each turn nearly free, then chain counterspells, bounces, draw spells, and extra-turn spells. Secondary paths are Hullbreaker Horror plus Sol Ring for infinite mana and a Blue Sun's Zenith/Capsize payoff, and Narset's Reversal plus Insidious Will to recur and copy key spells. Eluge also becomes a huge attacker as the Island count rises. There is no double-faced commander or hidden commander; the deck is built around Eluge's front face.
