Deck overview

Gandalf, Goblins' Bane // Flameshape is a mono-red spellslinger burn deck. The front face is the real commander: every noncreature spell makes Gandalf and the deck's Wizard pack ping each opponent. Flameshape is an adventure that exiles two cards to play later if you control a Wizard, acting as a value engine once Harmonic Prodigy or another Wizard is online. The deck plans to chain rituals, impulse draw, and cost reducers into a critical number of spells, doubling/tripling noncombat damage with Solphim or Fiery Emancipation and finishing with Aetherflux Reservoir or a large Grapeshot. Secondary lines use Past in Flames/Mizzix's Mastery to replay key spells and Urza's Saga to fetch Lotus Petal, Mox Amber, or Sensei's Divining Top.
