Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mono-Blue control and combo deck commanded by Orvar, the All-Form. It leverages a critical mass of 1-mana instant and sorcery targeting spells to turn ordinary utility permanents and basic Islands into compounding board presence and ramp. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with low-CMC artifacts and establishing Orvar with protective backup like Dive Down or Swarmyard. Once assembled, the deck generates immense card advantage through magecraft and targeting triggers, digging into recursive infinite-mana loops using Peregrine Drake paired with buyback spells like Mind Games or blink engines like Ghostly Flicker and Archaeomancer. After establishing infinite mana and drawing the library, it destroys opposing boards with Meteor Golem and bounces remaining threats before closing the game with an unblockable flying army.
