Commander: Garland, Knight of Cornelia // Chaos, the Endless

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos reanimator-control deck built around graveyard value. The front face, Garland, turns every noncreature spell into a Surveil 1 trigger, helping fill the graveyard; the back face, Chaos, is a resilient 5/5 flying Demon that can be returned from the graveyard transformed. The primary plan is to bin large creatures such as Griselbrand, Valgavoth, and Sheoldred using looting and surveil, then reanimate them with Reanimate, Whip of Erebos, Victimize, or Breach the Multiverse. Secondary paths include hand disruption, sacrifice pressure from Kroxa and Rankle, and incremental planeswalker value from Chandra and Liliana. The commander is an accelerant rather than a required engine, and the deck can operate as a straightforward midrange reanimator pile without it.
