Deck overview

This deck is a high-aggression Voltron strategy built around Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos. Alexios passes control to each player on their upkeep, gains a +1/+1 counter and haste, and attacks every combat step while being unable to attack its owner or be sacrificed. Because commander damage accumulates regardless of who controls the creature, Alexios turns the entire table into a rapid lethal engine that attacks four times per round. The deck surrounds Alexios with low-cost equipment for evasion and double strike (Hard-Won Jitte, The Spear of Leonidas, Trailblazer's Boots), card-draw engines that trigger on every combat (Tome of Legends, Mask of Memory), and a dense suite of redirection spells (Bolt Bend, Return the Favor, Wyll's Reversal) that redirect opposing removal toward enemy permanents. With low-cost ramp facilitating a Turn 3 or Turn 4 deployment, Alexios rapidly eliminates the table within two full rotations.
