Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai midrange strategy helmed by Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider. The deck revolves around impulse card draw (playing cards from exile) and modified creature synergies. Early turns focus on deploying efficient ramp and setup permanents such as Unstable Amulet, Araña, Heart of the Spider, and Costume Closet while casting Gwen Stacy on Turn 2. On Turn 5, the deck invests 5 mana to transform Gwen into Ghost-Spider, unlocking a persistent engine that places +1/+1 counters on Ghost-Spider whenever cards are played from exile and converts counters back into fresh impulse cards. Midgame turns leverage heavy paradox payoffs including Flaming Tyrannosaurus, Spider-Man 2099, and Thundering Raiju to generate substantial noncombat burn alongside evasive aerial combat damage. Defensive spells and interactive removal ensure the engine stays protected as it grinds through opponent life totals.
