Format: Commander

Commander: Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lathiel is the deck's engine, converting every point of life gained in a turn into +1/+1 counters at the end step. The deck leans on early Soul Sisters and lifelink attackers to trigger her, then uses Branching Evolution and Conclave Mentor to explode the count. Combat usually wins, but Aetherflux Reservoir backed by Beacon of Immortality and The Wind Crystal forms a secondary life-payment kill. The hidden 'second commander' is The Wind Crystal, which doubles all life gain and gives the team flying/lifelink on demand. Without Lathiel, the deck still has Bristly Bill, Wildwood Scourge and Ouroboroid, but loses most of its burst.
