Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Dimir Ninja strategy commanded by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary plan opens on Turn 1 with an evasive enabler such as Changeling Outcast, enabling a Turn 2 Commander ninjutsu activation. Yuriko's combat damage trigger simultaneously draws cards and drains all three opponents based on the revealed card's mana value. The deck stacks high-cost spells like Shadow of Mortality (15 life loss) and Temporal Trespass (11 life loss) on top of the library using Scroll Rack, Brainstorm, and Insatiable Avarice. It maintains tempo through zero- and one-mana interaction including Snuff Out, Flare of Denial, and Spell Pierce. For an immediate finish, the list integrates Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation or Doomsday. Punishing flash threats like Opposition Agent and Orcish Bowmasters suppress opposing combo and draw engines while Yuriko rapidly closes life totals.
