Wildwood of Fae-play by Wolf6297

Format: Commander

Commander: Maralen, Fae Ascendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is a midrange tribal Elf/Faerie strategy led by Maralen, Fae Ascendant. The primary game plan involves deploying a board of cheap Elves and Faeries to fuel Maralen's exile-and-free-cast ability, generating card advantage by stealing opponents' spells while pressuring life totals with combat-oriented payoffs such as Flopsie, Bumi's Buddy, Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen, and Terror of Serpent's Pass. The strategy relies on accumulating a critical mass of creatures to enable Maralen's cost-reduction line, then leveraging opponent's exiled cards for tempo. Secondary paths include incremental damage from Nightmare Sower, Fire Nation Sentinels, and the occasional flash threat like Sentinels of Glen Elendra or Frilled Mystic as interaction.
