Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Rakdos storm and burn engine commanded by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The strategy revolves around assembling Ob Nixilis alongside low-cost permanents that deal exactly 1 damage whenever spells are cast, cards are drawn, or turns begin. Each 1-damage instance triggers Ob Nixilis to gain a +1/+1 counter and exile the top card of your library playable until your next end step. This turns cheap burn, rituals, and cantrips into an explosive pseudo-storm cascade that draws massive portions of the deck. The deck closes games either by attacking with an overwhelmingly large flying, trampling commander, burning opponents out with repeated spell triggers, or executing a clean two-card infinite combo with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame. Strong defensive interaction like Bolt Bend and Pyroblast protects the combo turn.
