This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger Control strategy led by Saruman, the White Hand, focused on assembling a massive, warded Army token by chaining noncreature spells. Early turns prioritize mana acceleration through artifacts and low-curve setup pieces like Dreadhorde Invasion and Black Market Connections. Once Saruman is deployed on Turn 4, every noncreature spell—including premier interaction, card advantage engines, and tutors—simultaneously builds a lethal board presence.
