Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis tribal swarm strategy centered on Wick, the Whorled Mind and a critical mass of twenty copies of Rat Colony. The game plan revolves around rapidly developing cheap Rats that scale each other's power while automatically expanding and fattening Wick's Snail token. Once the board is established, the deck applies immense combat pressure through scaling power and evasion enablers like Piper of the Swarm and Marrow-Gnawer. If opponents stall the ground or attempt removal, Wick provides an instant-speed burn outlet that converts the oversized Snail into direct table-wide damage and a massive hand refill. Supported by cheap artifact ramp, token multipliers, and Grixis interaction, the deck operates with extreme creature redundancy, shrugging off targeted removal and threatening to close the game between Turns 5 and 7.
